Common problems and solutions of defective products of precision metal stamping parts

1. Burr problem. The definition of burr is that the edge of the sheet metal produces wire residue, which is not thoroughly cleaned, hinders the assembly with other objects, or affects the external appearance. First of all, the process is analyzed. The contact between the metal sheet and the die edge is the most frequent. If the edge is not sharp enough, the product cannot be cut completely. For example, if the edge is damaged, the burr will appear repeatedly at the same position. When the wear is serious, the contact area will increase, and the phenomenon of elastic material will occur. Therefore, the mold should be disassembled, and the cutting edges on both sides should be polished.

2. Convex meter problem. It belongs to the phenomenon of concave convex on the surface of hardware, which is manifested by various small pits, bumps and other symptoms. It belongs to the knotty problem of defective products. After the accumulation of rich production cases, you will find that this reason comes from the die gap, which can be solved only after the gap is adjusted reasonably. The disassembly and reorganization is a better solution.

3. Material shortage. The missing parts of hardware are different from the two problems mentioned above, which will directly lead to the scrapping of products and irreparable. Therefore, it should be shut down immediately, and mass production can be continued after the problem is solved. From the point of view of material shortage, it is not difficult to find out that it is the dislocation of punch or die, which makes the punching position deviate. Therefore, the position of punch should be corrected in time.
